Want a front-row seat in the VU's startup and entrepreneurship scene?
Demonstrator Lab is where VU students and researchers turn ideas into real ventures. We train and coach startups, run the six Dream Teams of the VU, and we organise events that bring the entrepreneurial ecosystem together: innovators, founders, researchers, partners and investors. It's busy, it's varied, and it's never boring.
Do you have a lot of energy? So do we! And we are looking for a student assistant to help us keep it that way.
Fair warning: this is not a fetch-the-coffee job. You'll actually be part of what we do.
What you'll do
Help shape our communication towards students: content, social media, spreading the word.
Support our events from prep to showtime, and help them run smoothly on the day
Activate and inspire students to get involved with DLAB and entrepreneurship
Pick up the ad-hoc stuff that keeps a community like ours moving
Honestly? A bit of everything we do. If you like variety and making things happen, this is your spot.
Who you are
A VU student with genuine drive > you can spot what needs doing and just do it
A people person who's comfortable talking to and activating fellow students
Dedicated and organised enough to keep a few balls in the air at once
Excited about entrepreneurship, innovation, or simply building cool things
Handy with content creation or social media? Big plus
Flexible! Not every week is the same, before and during events we expect you to be there.
