Whether it's the food choices we make here at the VU, protecting our planet from wildfires, improving health by lowering our biological age, improving mobility and vitality of people with spinal cord injuries or landing the worlds first biofuel-powered rocket, the Demonstrator Lab is proud to represent the Dream Teams of the VU.
This week we kicked off the new program for our VU Dream Teams, introduding all new members to their teams and raising awareness on the importance of building a strong team with clear roles. Impactful teams need diverse strengths: creative thinkers, executors, planners, communicators. That's why members of each team are recruited from different studies and years. Teams Pulse Racing, Rise, Burning Lowlands, VU Vital and VU Food Choices will use this new academic year to work on the goals set by their predecessors in the previous academic year, and by setting new goals to create an even bigger impact.
Great teams don’t just happen, they’re built through trust, purpose, and a little bit of adventure. So to wrap up the kick-off session, we took to the water! A boat ride plus wonderful sunny weather gave everyone the opportunity to chat, unwind, and connect in a more casual setting. No better way to launch a new chapter!
We wish all of our Dream Teams a great year and we're proud to represent and support them with the Demonstrator Lab team. So Dream Teams: dream big and create a big impact! You're just getting started! 🚀
